God the Father knows all our needs and desires without our even mentioning them to him. He knows when we’re hurting because of loss. He knows when we’re anxious about our children or family members, He knows when we’re afraid about the future or saddled with regrets about the past. And He wants us to confide in him as his children because He’s compassionate and attentive and loving and not, as many of us were raised to believe, a father to be feared.
Say this prayer to him every morning on your healing journey, and you will see the results in your life:
“My Beloved Father,
Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Be Thou my Father. Be always my Eternal Father.
Do not leave my soul. Do not abandon me. Do not let me out of your sight, my Father, for I am Your child, whom You created to please You, to adore You and to honor You, living my days as You have given me license to live them.
I offer this fiat through Mary to Jesus to You, Eternal Father.”
