A Talk With God
Lord, sometimes we think we should pray in beautiful words that have nothing to do with our daily life. Perhaps that is because we don’t always want to bring you into our daily lives — our business and social affairs, our home affairs, our love affairs, and our grief. As if we had any choice, Lord! For you are there with your presence and by your laws.
Help us to love so that you will be welcome in our lives. Then, Lord, our daily lives will themselves be prayers that flow directly from our hearts to your own heart.
