Reasons for Trembling
There are four reasons why a person may tremble.
The person may be frightened and tremble with fear.
The person may be ill and tremble with a fever.
The person may be angry and tremble with rage.
The person may be in love and tremble with passion.
Fear, fever, rage, passion —
All created by God.
What makes us frightened,
What makes us ill,
What makes us angry,
What makes us love —
On these matters, we have some choice,
On these, we must seek God’s grace.
